CHUNG KIU COME INN, Hong Kong

The inn sits across from a major McDonald's landmark, just steps from MTR Causeway Bay station (5 minutes' walk), and is also served by tram and bus stops directly outside. Airport Bus A11 (HK$42) and E11 (HK$21) stop in front, offering a direct, affordable route from the airport (about 30-45 minutes). Times Square is 500 metres away, Victoria Park is 600 metres, and Hong Kong Stadium is a 13-minute walk. The neighbourhood is dense with shopping, from high-end malls to local market vendors, plus a huge variety of restaurants and street food within a 2-minute radius. For solo travellers, the location feels safe and well-connected at all hours.

Rooms are compact but functional - classic Hong Kong guesthouse style, with beds fitted with privacy curtains, comfortable mattresses, and cosy pillows and duvets. The private twin room offers 2 single beds, while the triple room provides 2 beds (either a double and a single or combination) plus a flat-screen TV and electric kettle. All private rooms have a private bathroom with a powerful hot shower, shampoo and body wash dispensers, slippers, and towels. The dormitory includes spacious bed pods (each with multiple lights, sockets, and US/UK adapter plugs), plus four shared bathrooms and showers serving the room. Windows in the main room allow daylight and ventilation, and road-facing units still remain quiet at night. A shared refrigerator, freezer, and microwave are available in the common hallway. Daily housekeeping includes bed-making, trash removal, and restocking of toilet paper and bath amenities.

The inn itself does not serve breakfast, so you will need to plan your morning meal outside. However, you are in one of Hong Kong's top food districts: an eight-dining cluster of restaurants all within 0.5 km includes Sawali Club, Man Fai, Tiger Sugar, Hong Kong Nam Kee Noodle, Outback Steakhouse, Fu Sing Shark Seafood Restaurant, iCremeria, and Jin Luo Bao Korean Restaurant. The area offers everything from cheap local eats to international cuisine, and a Welcome supermarket is a 5-minute walk for groceries. The room comes with an electric kettle, so preparing simple hot drinks is possible.
