DAVID LOUNGE, Hong Kong

Room sizes are compact (approx. 13 m2 for doubles), which is typical for Hong Kong. Every room is air-conditioned and soundproofed, and includes a private bathroom with a shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Rooms are cleaned daily with towel changes. For families, there is an 8-person room (two double rooms adjacent) and a family room with city views. Sea-facing rooms with a fireplace provide a more spacious feel, though some rooms may match descriptions less accurately - it is advisable to confirm your specific room type at check-in. The building's lift can be crowded during peak hours, and rooms on lower floors may experience more noise from shared corridors.

David Lounge does not operate its own restaurant or bar, but the surrounding streets offer an exceptional variety of dining options within a short walk, including Din Tai Fung (0.5 km), Shalimar Restaurant (0.5 km), and several bars and international eateries. Breakfast availability depends on the room rate selected; some bookings include a basic continental option, while others do not. The 24-hour front desk can provide recommendations. For those who prefer self-catering, there is a microwave and kettle available in common areas.

There are no wellness facilities on site. The hotel compensates with its unbeatable location - guests have direct access to the Tsim Sha Tsui promenade, the Avenue of Stars, and Harbour City for evening strolls. The property's outdoor furniture and barbecue area offer a basic chance to sit outside, but those seeking serious leisure amenities (pool, spa, gym) will need to find them elsewhere.

Wi-Fi is free and available throughout the property, reported as reliable for basic tasks. The 24-hour reception handles late check-ins, luggage storage (free), and lockers - useful for early arrivals before check-in. Daily housekeeping is included and covers bed making, towel changes, and trash removal. The hotel also offers a tour desk, car hire, and safety deposit boxes. Business facilities are limited to fax/photocopying (surcharge). For families, baby safety gates and strollers are available. The property is fully non-smoking and has 24-hour security with CCTV, key card access, and fire alarms.
