The hostel sits on Rue des Mathurins, steps from Crimée station (metro line 7), which connects directly to Gare de l'Est (2 stops) and Opéra. Charles de Gaulle Airport is 16 km away via RER B to Gare du Nord, then bus 54 or metro line 7. Beauvais airport is reached by shuttle to Porte Maillot, then metro lines 1 and 7. Orly is accessible via RER B to Gare du Nord, then metro line 4 and 7. The area around the hostel has numerous supermarkets, bakeries, pizza shops, sushi, and pho restaurants. Sacré-Cœur is 5 km away, the Pompidou Centre 4 km, and the Canal de l'Ourcq is a 3-minute walk.

The hostel offers 4-bed dormitories (mixed or female), double rooms, and twin rooms, all with a private bathroom, shower, hairdryer, and air conditioning. Dormitory beds have a privacy curtain, reading light, universal socket, and a small under-bed storage box - bring a lock. Rooms are cleaned daily but the top blanket is a single fleece, which may be insufficient in cold weather. The property is older and basic; rooms are small and best suited for one night or a short budget stay. A shared kitchen and common room are in the basement.

Breakfast is included in the rate and is a simple continental spread: bread, butter, jam, and a hot drink. There is no hot food. A shared kitchen in the basement offers a fridge, microwave, kettle, and basic utensils - but no stove or oven and cleanliness can be inconsistent. Numerous eateries are within a 2-minute walk: Pizza Nino, Sushi Crimee, Le 108 cafe restaurant librairie Brunch, and Resto 19 croq sam. A baker and a McDonald's are also on the same street.

The property does not have a pool, gym, spa, or any dedicated wellness or leisure facility. The only communal area is a basement room with a fridge, microwave, kettle, a TV, and a few tables and chairs. The Canal de l'Ourcq is a 3-minute walk away, offering a pleasant area for a stroll or picnic.
