WS LOUVRE - RICHELIEU, Paris

The property is situated in the 1st arrondissement, placing it within a short stroll of the Louvre, the Tuileries Gardens, and the Palais Royal. Opéra Garnier is under a kilometre away, while the Musée de l'Orangerie is a 16-minute walk, the Pompidou Centre 19 minutes, and Notre Dame Cathedral 2 km. Metro stations Pyramides (line 14) and Louvre - Rivoli are nearby, providing direct connections to Orly Airport. The immediate area is dense with Asian restaurants, cafés, and a Carrefour supermarket directly below. Multiple bus and metro links make car-free exploration straightforward, though construction in the area has occasionally affected taxi access. Noise from bars and bin collections in the courtyard can be audible at night.

Room sizes vary significantly and are in many cases more compact than standard Parisian studios. The two-bedroom apartments can feel cramped for four adults, with limited space for luggage and movement. Beds (mostly double) are generally comfortable, but some units have small, basic mattresses and minimal closet space. Rooms with interior courtyard views are quieter than street-facing ones but some overlook service areas with early-morning bin noise. Many units have poor soundproofing, with noise from neighbours and hallways a common issue. Some rooms receive little natural light. A heating system is installed, but cooling is via a ceiling fan only, which can be noisy and must be left on with the light. Windows are double-glazed in some units. Lifts are available in most buildings but may involve a few steps.

WiFi is free and available throughout the property, generally performing well for browsing and remote work. There is no on-site reception; communication with the management is via WhatsApp and a phone number, and response speed can vary. Security includes CCTV in common areas, security alarms, and coded locks. A luggage storage option is available, though guests should confirm this in advance. Housekeeping is by prior request, not automatically refreshed during the stay. The building has a lift in most apartments, but some units are on the first or second floor without one. No private parking is available onsite, though the management works with a parking service. No pets are allowed. Accepted payment methods are Visa and MasterCard.

The property does not include a pool, spa, gym, or similar leisure amenities. The strength of the offering is the immediate proximity to the Louvre, the Tuileries Gardens, and the boating available on the nearby water. The surrounding 1st arrondissement is rich in historic walks, museums, and shopping, allowing guests to design their own leisure itinerary outside the apartment. For a quiet break, the Palais Royal gardens are a few minutes' walk away.
