CLARION POINTE RALEIGH MIDTOWN, Raleigh

The hotel is located 2 km from Capital Square Mall, a 10-minute drive from the North Carolina Museum of Art, and 12 minutes from North Carolina State University. Wil-Mar Golf Club is 12 km away. Nearby dining options include Soo Cafe, Lunch Box Deli, and Waffle House within 0.5 km, and Mayflower Seafood Restaurant at 1 km. The property is within walking distance of a bus stop, making some errands possible without a car. However, the immediate area around the hotel has been noted as less pedestrian-friendly for longer walks, and a car is recommended for most trips. Free, unreserved on-site parking simplifies vehicle use.

All accommodations are inside-room units without balconies. Rooms types available include double rooms with one bed and quadruple rooms with two beds. Standard room features a seating area, air conditioning, heating, ironing facilities, a telephone, and a mobile phone charger. Accessible rooms are also available. Rooms have been described as spacious, with comfortable beds, a work desk, and storage for hanging clothes. Private en suite bathrooms include a hairdryer. Rooms do not have a private bathroom. Some rooms have been reported as worn, with stained carpets or damaged furniture, and discrepancies between online photos and actual room condition have been noted. For a more reliable stay, consider a room on a higher floor away from the elevator to reduce hallway noise.

Breakfast is available and included in the rate, featuring a grab-and-go bag with egg and cheese omelette, yogurt, cereal bar, cookie, and water bottle. Coffee and juice are also available during breakfast hours. The property does not have a restaurant, but a snack bar and vending machines for snacks and drinks are available for quick bites. For those wanting a wider meal selection, nearby restaurants within a short walk include Waffle House, Lunch Box Deli, and Soo Cafe.

Wellness and leisure facilities are limited to a free on-site fitness centre. The hotel does not have a spa, swimming pool (seasonal outdoor pool closes after Labor Day and opens around May 21st weekend). No other leisure activities or games are provided on the property.
