CLARKESTON INN, Newport

Each room is individually named after a famous personality from the city's history. The rooms are large, some featuring kitchenettes, dining tables, or sitting areas. All rooms have private bathrooms, air conditioning, heating, and parquet floors. A number of rooms include a working fireplace (with a firelog provided during fireplace season). There are no balconies, but some rooms have two beds. The inn has no elevator, but first-floor rooms are available. The property is known for very comfortable beds and clean, well-maintained spaces.
