COMFORT INN GREENSBORO - KERNERSVILLE, Greensboro

Located in a safe area with easy highway access and ample lighting, the hotel is near the Joseph S. Koury Convention Center (6 km) and the Greensboro Aquatic Center. Multiple restaurants - including Chick-fil-A, Papa John's Pizza, LongHorn Steakhouse, and Red Lobster - are within a 5-minute walk. For longer drives, Greensboro city centre and the airport are about 10-15 minutes away. Parking is free and available on site without reservation, and the lot can accommodate semi-trucks if space permits. During the Highpoint Furniture Market, a shuttle serves the property. Rideshare services also operate in the area.

Room types include double/quadruple rooms (with 1 or 2 beds) and suites with a pull-out couch (king suites only). All rooms have a tea/coffee maker, ironing facilities, and cable TV. There are no kitchen or cooking facilities in the rooms, though an outdoor grill is available. Balconies are not offered. Some rooms may feel tired - peeling swivel chairs and worn finishes have been noted - but the beds are generally described as comfortable. Standard bathrooms are en-suite with a shower/tub; noise from thin walls or hallway housekeeping can be an issue, so packing earplugs may help.

The complimentary breakfast runs on schedule each morning and provides a solid start for the day. Options often include protein choices and fresh fruit, plus a waffle station that children enjoy. For those who need a grab-and-go option, wrapped fruit and bars are available. There is no restaurant on site, but several chain and fast-food restaurants are within a 5-minute walk, including Chick-fil-A, Jimmy Johns, and Papa John's Pizza, offering easy alternatives for lunch or dinner.

The outdoor pool is available during the warmer season and is well-maintained. The fitness centre provides basic equipment (elliptical machine, possibly with some broken parts) and is free for guests. A tranquil garden adds a quiet outdoor space for relaxation. Note that there is no spa or wellness centre on site.

All public areas and rooms have free Wi-Fi. Free public parking is available on site with no reservation needed, and the lot can accommodate large vehicles including semi-trucks if space allows. Pets are allowed for a non-refundable fee of $25 per pet per night (max 2 pets, 11 kg each); register at check-in. The 24-hour front desk offers luggage storage and can assist with early check-in if rooms are available. Housekeeping is done on request only - if daily cleaning is desired, please ask at the front desk. The property is fully non-smoking. Payment is accepted via American Express, Visa, Diners Club, JCB, Discover, Carte Blanche, and MasterCard.
