CITY EXPRESS BY MARRIOTT ORLANDO INTERNATIONAL DRIVE, Orlando

The hotel is situated in a calm area on a quiet street around the corner from International Drive, a bustling corridor of restaurants, shops, and attractions. ICON Park is a 2-minute drive or 15-minute walk away, and Universal Studios is just 6 to 8 minutes by car. Disney World and SeaWorld are 12-15 minutes away, while the Orange County Convention Center is 9 minutes from the property. Orlando International Premium Outlets is 10 minutes by car. The location is well-served by public transport, with bus stops nearby and the I-Trolley about 8 minutes on foot, providing a cheap way to reach SeaWorld and other spots. The area offers a wide selection of dining options within walking distance, including a large McDonald's, Chili's, and several fast-food outlets, as well as a Walgreens and a Walmart superstore nearby.

Rooms are generally spacious and have been recently renovated, offering a clean, comfortable space ideal for families. Each room includes a microwave, small refrigerator, coffee maker, flat-screen TV, hair dryer, and ironing facilities. Select suites add a sofa bed, making them suitable for up to 5 people. Air conditioning is standard but in some cases can be noisy or produce a musty smell if filters are overdue for replacement. Windows are sealed and cannot be opened. The beds are comfortable, though some find the mattresses firm and pillows small. Rooms are serviced daily with fresh towels and replenished toiletries. However, the hallways and corridors have older, dark carpet that can smell musty and show wear. The hotel is undergoing renovations, so some floors may have dust and noise, though higher floors are often quieter. Road-facing rooms can be noisier, but the quiet dead-end street keeps most rooms peaceful. There is no private bathroom option; all rooms have private bathrooms with bathtubs.

The complimentary breakfast is a hot buffet continental style with scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles (self-made), yogurt, fruits, cereal, bread, muffins, and juiced drinks. It is included for all guests and generally described as convenient and decent for the price. The waffles are a popular option. The breakfast area can get busy, especially during peak hours, leading to queues for coffee and toast. The menu remains the same daily, which some find repetitive after a few days. There is no restaurant on site, but there is a snack bar and a vending machine for drinks and snacks. For more variety, the surrounding area has many restaurants within walking distance or a short drive, including a McDonald's, Chili's, Starbucks, and other fast food options. The grab-and-go breakfast option (muffin, granola bar, juice) is available for early departures.

The 24-hour front desk offers concierge and tour desk services, and can help with Universal Studios ticket purchases. Luggage storage is available but may require a wait if busy. Daily housekeeping is included and generally provides fresh towels and makes beds, but the frequency may vary for longer stays. Laundry services (dry cleaning and coin-operated guest launderette) are on site. A business centre with free fax/photocopying is available. The property has a minimart on site for essentials. Security includes 24-hour front desk, key card access, smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, and safety deposit box. The ATM on site is useful for cash. Parking is free, private, and does not require a reservation, with accessible spaces available. There is no airport shuttle; transportation to the airport must be by taxi, Uber, or Lyft. The free shuttle to Universal Studios and EPCOT runs daily on a fixed schedule (morning departures around 7:10 AM, 8:15 AM, 9:20 AM, 10:40 AM, with return trips at 5:15 PM, 6:20 PM, 7:25 PM). A schedule is provided at check-in, and reservations are recommended. The shuttle is not available for Disney parks. The hotel is fully wheelchair accessible with an elevator, accessible parking, and adapted bathrooms with grab rails and lower sinks.
