While the immediate surroundings are not pedestrian-friendly at night, the property is gated, fenced, and monitored by security cameras. LaGuardia Airport is 10 km away; JFK is roughly one hour by car. Several restaurants and a deli are within a 5-minute walk. Parking requires a reservation and costs $40 per night, so plan ahead if driving.

Rooms are spacious, with comfortable beds, work desks, and in-room iron and hairdryer. Suites include a separate seating area with a sofa. All units have heating and windows that open. Some rooms face the highway and can be noisy; requesting a back-facing room ensures a quieter stay. A motion-sensor light in the entry may disturb sleep-pack a sleep mask or ask the front desk about disabling it. There are no bathtubs, balconies, or in-room safes. Cots are available on request.

The breakfast includes eggs, sausages, cereal, toast, pastries, coffee, and juice, plus a waffle station. The selection is limited and repeats daily, but adequate for a quick start. Breakfast may not always be ready exactly at 6:00.
