COMFORT SUITES CINCINNATI UNIVERSITY - DOWNTOWN, Cincinnati

The property sits in a central corridor with easy access to I-71 and I-75, making downtown and the riverfront about a 5-minute drive. A bus stop directly outside serves routes to Great American Ball Park ($2.20 fare) and the Freedom Center. Nearby dining options (including Mediterranean, pizza, and breakfast spots) are within 1 km, though the immediate neighbourhood is mixed residential and commercial. Parking is free and gated on-site, but securing valuables or using a vehicle with visible items inside is not recommended. The University of Cincinnati Hospital is a short drive, ideal for medical visits. The Cincinnati Casino is under 2 km away.

Rooms are described as spacious with a half-wall separation between the sleeping area and a sitting area with pull-out sofa. Each unit includes a refrigerator, microwave, work desk, and hairdryer. Air conditioning units can be noisy, so those sensitive to sound may want to bring earplugs. Room cleanliness is generally reported as very high, but periodic requests for full servicing can be made at the desk if daily service is needed. All rooms are non-smoking, and a designated smoking area is available outside. Road-facing rooms may pick up some street noise; requesting a rear-facing room can improve quiet.

The breakfast area is large and well-maintained. Options include cereal, toast, yogurt, and a rotating hot line. The breakfast attendant is known for attentive service and sometimes plating food for less mobile guests. Breakfast runs until 9:30 on weekends; arriving near closing time may result in limited selection. Several sit-down restaurants, including Mediterranean, American, and pizza, are within a 1-2 km walk or short drive. For late-night food, the front desk can recommend local options.

The pool area is open year-round and heated, with pool towels provided. It can occasionally be closed for maintenance or after isolated incidents, so call ahead if swimming is key. The fitness centre includes basic cardio and strength equipment. A business centre with computers and printers is also available. The property features a minimarket on site for snacks and drinks.
