The hotel is situated on McCoy Road, a corridor of hotels just off the highway providing fast access to the airport terminals (9 minutes), Brightline station, and the Sunrail. Universal Studios and SeaWorld are a 15-minute drive, Walt Disney World is 15-20 minutes, and Orange County Convention Center is 14 km away. There are no restaurants or shops within easy walking distance, but several fast-food chains are a short drive. The immediate area is practical for overnight airport stays or as a base for theme park visits with a car, though without a vehicle, the location is car-dependent. Uber and Lyft are the recommended options for reaching the parks, as the hotel does not provide a theme park shuttle.

Suites are notably roomy and come equipped with a 32-inch flat-screen TV, tea and coffee maker, a work desk with seating area, and a wardrobe. The private bathroom features a walk-in shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Bed sizes are marketed as queen but may be full-size; the pillows are also smaller than standard. Some rooms include a sofa bed - the sofa bed mattresses are thin and show age. Highway-facing rooms can pick up street noise from motorcycles and trucks; rooms on higher floors or the courtyard side are quieter. The overall decor and furniture are dated and dark, but the suites are functional for a one- to two-night stay. The air conditioning units can be noisy in certain rooms, and some rooms have reported musty smells. For families needing extra space, the larger family suites provide a separate seating area with a sofa.

The breakfast buffet includes American-style hot items such as scrambled eggs, sausage, and make-your-own waffles, plus continental options like toast, bagels, yogurt, fresh fruit and a pastry selection. Coffee and juice are included. During busy periods the breakfast room can become crowded and seating limited. The breakfast items are served with disposable cutlery and plates. There is no on-site restaurant or bar, and no dinner service available. A small lobby vending area offers snacks, cup-of-soup items and drinks. Several fast-food restaurants are within a short drive; grocery stores and full-service restaurants are a 5-10 minute drive away.

The seasonal pool is unheated and can be cold, even in warm weather; it remains open all year. The adjacent hot tub provides a warm alternative for relaxation, though it has been noted to be lukewarm at times. Pool towels are not always stocked - it is advisable to bring your own from the room. The fitness center is free and open 24 hours, and the business center (with computer and printer) is also available for guest use. There is no spa or wellness on site.

Wi-Fi is free and available in all areas. Private parking costs $6 per day and requires a reservation; extended park-and-fly parking for those on a trip is $10 per day plus tax. The free airport shuttle runs from 4:00 AM to 12:45 AM and holds up to 14 passengers; the driver picks up from the airport after a phone call. A paid shuttle to Port Canaveral is available through a third-party company at $25 per person one-way or $50 round-trip; a shuttle to the Orange County Convention Center costs extra.
