PARK ROYAL ORLANDO, Kissimmee

The hotel sits on a busy commercial strip, about 20-25 minutes by car from Disney parks and 25 minutes from Orlando International Airport. A gas station and mini-market are adjacent, with Subway, Taco Bell, and Denny's within a 5-minute walk and a Walmart a 7-minute drive. Public bus stops are across the street for park access, though a taxi or car is more practical. The area has vehicle traffic noise at night, particularly near the main road, and room selection away from the street helps light sleepers. Parking is free and spots are close to rooms, making car use straightforward, but the location is less walkable for groceries or longer excursions without a vehicle.

Studio, double, and family room configurations are available, some with kitchenettes (kitchenware, toaster, dining area) and seating areas. A two-bedroom Ambassador layout includes a separate living area and two bathrooms. Rooms on the second floor are quieter; those on the ground floor may have gaps under the door. Many units have been renovated with clean tiled floors and modern furniture, though older rooms can feel dated with worn mattresses and noisy air-conditioning. Some rooms have limited lighting, small closets, and minimal space for opening suitcases-a potential issue for four-person groups. Bathrooms are small but functional, with good shower pressure and new fixtures in updated rooms. Road-facing rooms experience more noise; an interior or upper-floor room is preferable for lighter sleepers.

Breakfast includes coffee, juice, cereal, muffins, waffles (make-your-own), toast, and sometimes frozen burritos or bagels. The breakfast items are served in a small dining area, with guests often taking food back to their room. There is no on-site restaurant or bar. For fuller meals, nearby restaurants such as Denny's, Taco Bell, and El Tapatio Mexican are within a 5-minute walk. The kitchenette in some rooms (microwave, mini-fridge, toaster) allows for simple self-catering if needed. Coffee is available in the lobby throughout the day at no cost.

Free Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the property, though connectivity can be weak in some rooms-the lobby offers a stronger signal. Parking is free with no reservation needed and spaces are close to rooms. The 24-hour front desk can arrange taxi cards for park transport (no hotel shuttle). Laundry facilities (washer/dryer) are available for an additional charge. Express check-in/out and daily housekeeping are included. Safety features include CCTV, key card access, 24-hour security, a safe deposit box, and fire extinguishers. The business centre offers fax/photocopying. Vending machines for drinks are on site. There is no extended-stay programme; rooms do not have stoves, and larger refrigerators have been replaced with smaller units.
