COMFORT SUITES - SOUTH AUSTIN, Austin

The hotel sits off a major highway, providing straightforward car access to downtown Austin (8 km), Moody Center (10 km), and the airport. Free on-site parking is available. A Subway sandwich shop is 1 km away, alongside Texas Land & Cattle Steak House and Mariana's Kitchen. For those without a car, ride-sharing is recommended as public transit options are limited. A Walmart and several fast-food outlets are within a short drive.

All rooms are one-bedroom suites with a separate living area and a sleeper sofa. Bathrooms feature either a bath or shower, with tiled floors and free toiletries. Carpeted rooms may show signs of wear such as stained carpets or dated fixtures. Air conditioning units are individually controlled but can be noisy. Rooms facing the highway or adjacent to the gym are more prone to sound. No rollaway beds are available; the sofa bed serves as extra sleeping. No rooms have balconies. The hotel does not offer additional beds beyond the sofa bed.

Breakfast is served in a large dining area and includes a rotating selection: scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, pastries, cereal, fruit, juice, and coffee. The breakfast is basic but filling. A snack bar in the lobby offers packaged items. For other meals, several casual dining options are within 1 km, including a Subway and Texas Land & Cattle Steak House.

Additional services include a snack bar, luggage storage (subject to availability), and free parking. Pets are allowed with a $50 nonrefundable fee per pet, maximum 2 pets under 23 kg. The property has accessible parking and rooms. Housekeeping is provided upon request; daily cleaning is not automatic. The elevator can be slow, and door locking mechanisms may require manual checking. The front desk can assist with local recommendations and special requests.
