The hotel occupies a quiet Victorian square, a short walk from Kensington Gardens, Notting Hill, and Portobello Market (5 minutes). Lancaster Gate tube (Central line) is a 3-5 minute walk, and Paddington station (Heathrow Express, Circle, District, Bakerloo lines) is within 15 minutes on foot. Frequent bus stops on the doorstep make Oxford Street and Marble Arch about 10 minutes by bus. Numerous restaurants, cafes, and pubs are within a few minutes' walk, including a Balti restaurant immediately downstairs. The neighbourhood is quiet at night, and the central London attractions are easily reached without a car.

Room types include Superior Singles (walk-in shower, air conditioning, tea/coffee), Executive Doubles (sumptuous beds, USB sockets, luxury toiletries), Superior Twins (two single beds, same amenities), Executive Triples (sofa bed option), and Family Rooms (two double beds or a double plus a sofa bed). Townhouse suites offer extra space and a separate sitting area. Self-catering apartments (one/two bedrooms) are available 50 metres away, with a kitchen, but located on upper floors without lift access. Most rooms are compact - particularly the standard doubles and singles - and rooms on lower floors may lack natural light. A few suites have four-poster beds. All rooms include a minifridge, kettle, iron (on request), and a flat-screen TV. Noise between rooms is sometimes audible; rooms facing the street or near the kitchen can be noisier.

Breakfast is a self-serve buffet with croissants, pain au chocolat, muffins, jams, honey, butter, cereals, yogurt, and a choice of hot drinks and juices. The breakfast room operates on a limited schedule; staffing may be minimal during peak times.
