This hotel's location is one of its strongest assets. It is set on a quiet street just off Piazza di Spagna, placing all major landmarks within easy walking distance: the Trevi Fountain is 5 minutes away, the Pantheon is 20 minutes, and the Colosseum is about 25 minutes on foot. Spagna and Barberini Metro stations are both a 5-minute walk, making it simple to reach the Vatican (via Metro or bus from the nearby stop) or Termini station. The exclusive designer stores of Via dei Condotti are 300 metres away, and a wide selection of restaurants and cafés line the surrounding streets. For car-free visitors, this area is exceptionally convenient. A taxi from Fiumicino Airport costs around €40 (fixed price) or a private transfer can be pre-booked for €75 per trip (minivan for 4 people).

Rooms are elegantly furnished but can be small - particularly the economy category, which is best suited for solo travellers or very short stays. The main building rooms have limited space; guests carrying more than one piece of luggage may find it tight. Standard rooms offer a slightly more comfortable layout, and some include a balcony overlooking the city. There is also an annexe building where rooms are newer, quieter, and more spacious. All rooms have air conditioning (centrally controlled - call reception if you need a temperature change), a flat-screen TV with cable channels, soundproof walls, a safety deposit box, and an electric kettle with tea and coffee. The private bathroom includes a shower, bidet, hairdryer, and complimentary toiletries. Bed preference (double or twin) can be specified when booking. Daily housekeeping is provided free of charge. Road-facing rooms can experience traffic noise if the window is open, so light sleepers may prefer a room at the rear or in the annexe.

Breakfast is an additional €15 per person and includes a continental buffet with breads, pastries, hard-boiled eggs, cured meats, cereals, juices, and made-to-order coffee (including cappuccino). Gluten-free options are available upon request if notified in advance. The highlight is the setting: during fine weather, breakfast is served on the sixth-floor rooftop terrace overlooking St. Peter's Dome and the historic centre. This terrace also operates as an evening bar serving drinks such as Aperol Spritz with a selection of snacks. For other meals, the hotel has no restaurant; however, a wide array of eateries are within a very short walk, including Ristorante Crispi 19, Prosciutteria Cantina Dei Papi Trevi, and Osteria Barberini. An in-room breakfast option is also available.

The hotel provides free Wi-Fi throughout the property, available in all areas. The 24-hour front desk allows for very late or early check-in - arrivals after midnight are no problem. Express check-in and check-out are also an option. Luggage storage is offered free of charge, which is particularly useful for guests with late departures. A paid airport shuttle can be arranged: a one-way private transfer from Fiumicino costs €75 (minivan for 4) and from Ciampino €65 (standard car for 3). The tour desk can organise city tours. The lift is small and may be challenging for wheelchair users or those with mobility issues; the stairs are steep and spiral-shaped. Pets are allowed on request for a one-time cleaning fee of €20.
