The area itself has a lively, bustling feel, with multiple restaurants, bars, and supermarkets within a 300-metre radius. While the immediate streets around the station can feel less safe late at night, taking a taxi or ride-share is a sensible alternative. For daytime exploration, the historic centre is about a 35-minute walk or a short bus/metro ride.

The property offers a range of accommodation, from 4-bed and 6-bed mixed or female-only dorms to private rooms like singles, doubles, twins, and family rooms (with up to 6 beds). All rooms are air-conditioned and individually decorated in vivid colors. Dorms feature lockable under-bed lockers (bring your own padlock), a shelf with a power point next to each bed, and a seating area. Private rooms all have an en suite bathroom with a bath or shower. Room size and window views vary; the windows in private rooms face the street or an open internal terrace.
