Holiday Max is ideally placed for exploring Rome on foot or by public transport. The Re di Roma metro station (line A) is about 400 metres away, reaching the Colosseum in 5 minutes and Termini station in 10 minutes. Many of the city's top sights, including Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum, are within a 25-minute walk. The surrounding neighbourhood is safe and residential, yet lined with cafés, pizzerias, supermarkets, and pasticcerias within 300 metres. For airport transfers, take a shuttle bus from Ciampino or Fiumicino to Termini, then two metro stops to Re di Roma. The area is well served by buses as well, giving easy access to all parts of Rome. The quiet street ensures a peaceful night's sleep, while the lively commercial streets are just around the corner.

The property does not operate its own restaurant or bar. Instead, a shared kitchen is provided for guest use, equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, kettle, toaster, and basic cookware. Self-service breakfast items such as instant coffee, tea, and bread for toast are supplied. The kitchen is a common area shared with other guests. For fuller meals, the surrounding area offers a high concentration of restaurants, pizzerias, and bistros within a 5-minute walk, including I Vitelloni, Shooters, Aro' Sasa', and many others. The local cafés and pasticcerias (e.g., Bar Pasticceria Cristiani) are ideal for an Italian breakfast or espresso. The neighbourhood also has a supermarket and fruit shop nearby for self-catering supplies.

Check-in is handled by appointment only, with no permanent reception desk. The host meets guests at the property to hand over keys and explain the facilities. Late arrivals after 19:30 incur a cash fee of €20 (19:30-21:30) or €40 (21:30-23:30); check-ins after 23:30 are not guaranteed and require prior arrangement and payment. Check-out is at 10:00. The building has a lift for upper-floor access. WiFi is free throughout, though connectivity has occasionally been unreliable. Daily room cleaning is not standard; some rooms receive no servicing during the stay. Shared bathrooms are cleaned periodically but frequency may vary. Luggage storage is not available after check-out. The property accepts Visa, JCB, Maestro, UnionPay, and MasterCard. No on-site parking; public parking is available nearby at an additional cost.
