Village Tavern Hanes Mall is 1 km away, and the surrounding commercial area has many restaurants and shops. The roads near the hotel are car-oriented, so walking to the mall is not practical; free on-site parking, including truck parking, makes driving the easiest way to get around. Downtown Winston-Salem is about 15 minutes by car.
