Rooms have a private bathroom with a shower (some very small), a flat-screen TV with cable channels, and a kettle. Floor plans vary: some double rooms are spacious, others are tight. Road-facing rooms can be noisy from street life and a ground-floor café; interior rooms are quieter. There is no air conditioning - a floor fan is provided. Soundproofing between rooms is limited, so noise from neighbours and the breakfast area (adjacent to some room doors) may be noticeable. Some rooms have no curtains (sliding panels) and a streetlamp can cause light ingress. Electrical sockets may be far from the bed, and the number of plugs is limited.
