TOWNEPLACE SUITES BY MARRIOTT RENO, Reno

The hotel sits in a quiet pocket of downtown Reno, putting you within easy walking distance of Wingfield Park Amphitheater (600 m) and several restaurants like Millies24, Cafe Central, Hidden Pizza, and Sushi Sake, all within a 5-minute stroll. Reno-Tahoe International Airport is 5 km away (a 10-minute drive), and the highway is adjacent for quick access to Diamond Peak (about a 45-minute drive). The area is walkable by day, and free on-site parking makes car use straightforward. For those without a car, the central location means most downtown attractions are reachable on foot.

TownePlace Suites offers mostly studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom suites. The largest option is the Premium Suite: one king bedroom with a full bath, a living/kitchen area, two queen beds in a separate room with another full bath, plus a pull-out sofa - sleeping up to 8. Every room includes a coffee maker, flat-screen TV, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Some furnishings feel worn or dated, and carpets can show signs of age. Noise levels vary - older rooms may have loud fridges or thin walls. A few rooms have had maintenance issues such as broken locks, loose shower taps, or low water pressure, so it is wise to check the room at check-in and request a change if needed. Rooms with kitchenettes do not have an oven, only a 2-burner stovetop.
