DAYS INN BY WYNDHAM EL PASO WEST, El Paso

The location is a practical base for travellers who need easy highway access. El Paso International Airport is a 25-minute drive away, and downtown El Paso is 15 minutes by car. The property is also 3 km from the Mexican border, convenient for cross-border trips. Nearby attractions include Wet 'n' Wild Waterworld and Sunland Park Racetrack & Casino, both about 10 minutes away. Public transit options are limited, but the abundance of restaurants (Texas Roadhouse, Village Inn, Chili's, and others within half a kilometre) makes dining on foot easy. Free on-site parking offers secure, well-lit storage for vehicles.

The rooms are clean, comfortable, and practical for both short stays and transit travellers. All rooms feature air conditioning, heating, a seating area with a cable flat-screen TV, ironing facilities, and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. The quadruple and family rooms are air-conditioned and come with two beds. Some double rooms offer pool views. The property has been recently renovated, with brand-new floors, bathroom tiles, and furniture. While the doors are not fully soundproofed, the overall noise level is manageable, and many find the sleep quality good. Rooms have outdoor access (motel-style), which some prefer and others find less convenient.

Breakfast is a light, complimentary continental offering - typically bread, pastries, juice, and coffee. There are no hot items like eggs or meat. The hotel does not have its own restaurant; however, there is a vending machine with snacks and drinks available 24/7. For full meals, the area around the hotel is dense with sit-down and fast-food options: Texas Roadhouse, Village Inn, Golden Buddha, Chili's Grill & Bar, Krispy Kreme, and Peter Piper Pizza, all within 0.5 km. This arrangement works well for travellers who prefer flexibility in dining or are passing through and want a quick meal nearby.

The wellness area includes a clean, well-maintained seasonal swimming pool and a hot tub. A handicap lift is available for the pool. The spa and wellness centre is open only during the warm-weather months - generally from late May to early September. Outside this window, the facilities are closed, so travellers seeking pool or hot tub use should plan their stay around the season. The pool deck is clean and provides a relaxing spot after a day on the road. Paid golf is available within 3 km of the property.
