DC INTERNATIONAL HOSTEL 2, Washington

The accommodation offers shared dormitories and private rooms. Private rooms contain two single beds and basic furniture only. All rooms feature air conditioning and heating, but noise insulation is poor, and road-facing rooms can be noisy. Some rooms have no windows. Bunk bed mattresses are old and uncomfortable. Bedsheets and towels are provided. There are no lockers, curtains, or individual lights for beds. Top bunks may lack a safe ladder.

There is no restaurant, bar, or breakfast at this property. A self-catering shared kitchen is provided, but it has minimal equipment: a microwave, kettle, oven, and refrigerator, with limited utensils, cups, plates, and cutlery. The vending machines offer snacks and drinks. Many restaurants are within a 5-minute walk, including Ethiopian, Thai, and casual dining options.

Wi-Fi is free but may not work reliably on upper floors. Daily housekeeping is free but cleanliness is inconsistent. Luggage storage is free and can be used before check-in. Laundry facilities are on site for an extra charge. A vending machine offers snacks and drinks. Safety features include CCTV, key card access, and smoke alarms. Staff are present during check-in hours. No lockers or secure storage for personal items are provided.
