DESIGNER RIVER VIEW APARTMENTS, Fort Lauderdale

The apartments sit directly on the canal, offering views of passing boats. Las Olas Boulevard, with its restaurants, bars, and shops, is a short walk away. The pedestrian bridge to downtown is a bit further, making walking less convenient in hot weather. Driving is practical: the beach is an 11-minute drive, and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is 10 km away. A free water taxi stops nearby, but runs every 30 minutes. Boating and sailing are popular in the area. The nearest restaurants include Preston's Wine and Martini Lounge and Big City Tavern, both about 1 km away.

Units range from one to two bedrooms, with private bathrooms (shower or bath), air conditioning, and heating. Kitchens include a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, kettle, and coffee maker. Washer and dryer are available in some units; a coin-operated laundry is on the first floor. Rooms have flat-screen TVs with streaming services, work desks, and seating areas. Many apartments offer canal views. Some units are older and poorly maintained, with issues reported such as broken blinds, chipped furniture, stained couches, mold in bathrooms, and outdated finishes. Road-facing rooms or those with thin walls can be noisy. Beds are generally comfortable and apartments are spacious.

Each apartment has a full kitchen with modern appliances, making it easy to prepare meals. Close by on Las Olas Boulevard, there are many dining options such as American Social Bar and Restaurant (2 km), Big City Tavern (1 km), and Preston's Wine and Martini Lounge (1 km). For seafood, Wild Sea Oyster Bar & Grille is 2 km away. Grocery deliveries can be arranged for an additional charge.

The property has a seasonal outdoor swimming pool with a fence, sun loungers, and chairs. The pool area looks onto the canal. Fishing is available directly from the property. Within 3 km there are options for golf, canoeing, hiking, horse riding, diving, snorkelling, windsurfing, bowling, and a water park, though most off-site activities require additional charges.

Free private parking is available on site with no reservation needed. WiFi is free in all rooms. Laundry service is available for an additional charge, and there is a coin-operated washing machine on the first floor. Express check-in/out and private check-in/out are offered. The building has a lift, soundproof rooms, and is non-smoking throughout. CCTV and smoke alarms are installed. Pets are not allowed. There is no on-site restaurant or bar, but grocery deliveries can be arranged.
