DES PLAINES MOTEL BY OYO O'HARE AIRPORT CHICAGO, Des Plaines

The motel is 6 km from Chicago O'Hare International Airport, making it a practical option for car travelers needing airport proximity. There is no shuttle service, so you must drive or arrange a taxi/rideshare. The hotel is near Loyola University Chicago (22 km), Wrigley Field (27 km), Lincoln Park Zoo (32 km), and the Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art (33 km). Club Casa Cafe is 1 km away. Parking is free and private, with no reservation needed; however, no 18-wheeler parking is available.

Rooms are air-conditioned with private bathrooms, refrigerators, microwaves, work desks, free toiletries, flat-screen TVs with cable channels, and wardrobes. Some rooms include a kitchenette. The motel has both smoking and non-smoking rooms, but even non-smoking rooms may have a strong smoke odor. Rooms can feel outdated, with reports of mold, humidity, stained bedding, and bug infestations. Light sleepers should note the wall-mounted air conditioning unit can be loud. The property appears to cater to adult entertainment, with mirrors above the bed and adult channels; families with children may find the atmosphere inappropriate.

The motel does not offer a restaurant, bar, or breakfast service. The nearest dining option is Club Casa Cafe, 1 km away. For other meals, guests will need to drive to nearby restaurants or bring their own food to prepare using the in-room microwave and refrigerator.

The only leisure facility is a hot tub/jacuzzi, which incurs an extra fee. No pool, gym, spa, or other wellness amenities are offered.
