For driving, the Sydney CBD is about 20 minutes away by car, and Sydney Airport is 16 km from the park. North Ryde Business Park is 3 km away, and a Coles supermarket is a 15-minute walk from the property. Free private parking is available on site, but each cabin has only one space - ideal for those wanting a suburban base with easy city access and nature on the doorstep.

Accommodation consists of cabins, each featuring a private bathroom (with separate toilet in 2-bedroom cabins), a kitchenette with a microwave and stove top, a dining table, a lounge area, and a furnished balcony with outdoor furniture. Standard 2-bedroom cabins have a queen bed in one room and 3 single beds in the other (including a child-only bunk bed) - ideal for a family of up to 5. Bedding, linen, and towels are supplied, and cabin extras include air conditioning, heating, flat-screen TV, electric kettle, and cooking utensils. The cabins are noted as being clean, comfortable, and spacious, with comfortable beds and good water pressure in the walk-in showers. Deluxe cabins are available that are newer, fully air-conditioned, and offer direct views into the national park. A private entrance is included for each cabin.

There is no restaurant or breakfast offering at Discovery Parks - Lane Cove. Instead, each cabin is equipped with a kitchenette that includes a microwave, stove top, cookware, utensils, and an electric kettle, allowing you to prepare your own meals.
