The hostel is located in the heart of Surry Hills, a vibrant neighbourhood packed with cafés, vintage boutiques, bars, and live music venues - Crown Street is 300 metres away, and restaurants and cafés are just 150 metres from the door. Central Station is an 800-metre walk, and bus stops right outside provide direct services to Darling Harbour (6 minutes), Circular Quay, and the Sydney Opera House (10 minutes). Sydney Airport is 6 km away, and Bondi Beach is also 6 km. For longer stays, the neighbourhood's mix of artisan bakeries, late-night eateries, and Prince Alfred Park's green space offers everything within easy walking distance.

All rooms and dorms are air-conditioned and heated. Each bunk bed is curtained for privacy and comes with a reading light, USB charging ports, and a lockable under-bed storage locker. The female dorms are decorated with stylish mirrors and vibrant art. Private rooms offer a TV, while dorms have linens provided (towels not supplied). For those who prefer not to share a bathroom, rooms with a private ensuite are available. Rooms are compact - especially 4-bed dorms - and may feel cramped with luggage. Travellers who need space to work or store large suitcases should consider a private room or travel light.

The shared kitchen is equipped with hobs, a fridge, microwave, and utensils - guests can cook full meals. The kitchen closes at 22:00, so plan evening meals accordingly. Fridge space is limited, so labelled storage baskets are available. There is no breakfast service, but a vending machine sells snacks and drinks, and nearby cafés (150-500 m) serve fresh coffee, pastries, and full breakfasts. Within a 5-minute walk you will find Lebanese, Indian, and contemporary Australian restaurants, as well as the Lord Gladstone and Tudor Hotel pubs.

The fitness room includes basic equipment for stretching and bodyweight exercises - free Pilates classes are offered on some mornings. The cinema room shows cult classics and movies, closing at 22:00. The outdoor courtyard is a leafy, sociable space with BBQ facilities (free to use) and garden furniture. The hostel organises free events such as walking tours, run clubs, paint-and-sip craft evenings, life drawing, trivia nights, karaoke, and family-style cook-up dinners. Board games and a games room are also available. The adjacent Prince Alfred Park has sports fields and tennis courts for those who want to be active outdoors.

All access is managed through a digital app (Goki) via Bluetooth - no physical key cards. A tour desk can help with local recommendations and bookings. Coin-operated laundry is on site (additional charge). A vending machine provides drinks and snacks. Fax/photocopying is available at an extra cost. The property has CCTV in common areas and outside, key card access, fire extinguishers, and smoke alarms for security. Pets are not allowed, and the hostel is adults-only (no children unless the whole dorm is booked privately). There is no lift, and some buildings require carrying luggage up and down stairs. The property has two separate buildings a few doors apart - the reception and main social areas are in one, and accommodation is spread between both.
