Playacar is a secure, private residential area with 24-hour security, but requires a QR code or armband for entry - arrange this before arrival. 5th Avenue offers a wide range of dining, shopping, and nightlife options. Xcaret Eco-Theme Park is a 15-minute drive away, and Cancún International Airport is about 50 minutes by car. A free parking spot is included, but taxis and personal vehicles must be pre-registered with security.

Rooms are individually styled with wooden furniture and tile/marble floors. Many rooms open onto a shared terrace or garden area. Some rooms have balconies. The 3-bedroom villa includes a full kitchen and a private entrance. Note that some lower-category rooms have the private bathroom located across the hall (shared with other rooms), and economy rooms share a living room and terrace with other guests. The property is effectively a shared house for many room types - book the entire villa for complete privacy. Noise from other rooms and the street can carry, and air conditioning units blow directly onto beds. Some rooms have a private pool or hot tub. Extra fees apply for final cleaning (100 USD) and utilities.

The property does not have an on-site restaurant. A continental breakfast can be arranged for an additional charge. There is no shared kitchen access for guests unless renting the entire villa. Several dining options are just a short walk away on 5th Avenue, including Les Crepes De Paris (0.5 km), CaliBurger, and Lima 12005 (both 1 km). A convenience store is 300 metres away, and a large supermarket is 1 km from the property.

The outdoor swimming pool has a shallow end and is surrounded by sun loungers and beach towels. The kids' pool is free to use. The pool area is shared among several villas and can become busy and noisy with children during the day. The garden includes outdoor furniture and a picnic area. Off-site activities include canoeing, snorkelling, diving, windsurfing, and golf (all at an additional charge). There is no spa or wellness centre on the premises.

Services include express check-in/out, a tour desk, and a shared lounge/TV area. Daily housekeeping is provided free of charge. A paid airport shuttle can be arranged. Laundry service is available for an additional fee; an external laundry is also a 2-minute walk away. Safety features include a safety deposit box, CCTV, smoke alarms, and key access.
