The location is a strong point for walkability. It is a 3-minute walk from the ADO bus terminal, 5 minutes from the Cozumel ferry dock, and less than a 10-minute walk to the public beach and the main tourist strip. Tulum ruins are within a 1-hour drive. The area has dozens of restaurants, bars, and shops within a 2-block radius, including Karen's Restaurant, Fives Rooftop, and Mercatto Italian Cuisine. Despite the central setting, the side street is relatively calm at night compared to the main avenue, though noise from the internal courtyard and nearby kitchens can be noticeable, particularly in rooms facing the courtyard. For airport transfers, the ADO bus service from Cancun to the terminal is a practical, cost-effective option. Parking is not available on site, and street parking is very limited; those arriving by car will need to use paid private parking lots several blocks away, which involves walking over uneven sidewalks with luggage.

Rooms are generally large and feature Mexican art, wooden or tiled floors, and a seating area. Each room includes air conditioning, a ceiling fan, an iron, a safety deposit box, a TV with cable, and a telephone. Some rooms have a balcony or terrace, while others may have a patio. The private bathroom offers either a tub or a shower and a hairdryer; however, some bathrooms have reported poor ventilation and occasional maintenance issues such as leaking shower heads or lack of hot water for the first several minutes. Windows in many rooms face internal corridors or the courtyard, which can make rooms dark when curtains are drawn for privacy. A few rooms have no windows at all. Rooms on the ground floor near the entrance or facing the street can be affected by noise from pedestrians, street music, and the internal courtyard echo.
