Room selection significantly affects the stay. Standard Queen rooms are compact and best suited for two. Superior Queen rooms are located in the quieter interior of the property and include a private sitting area. The Duval Street Apartment and Duplex on Duval provide spacious layouts with large balconies overlooking Duval Street, full kitchens, and living areas. Deluxe King rooms do not include Duval Street balconies. In duplex configurations, the upstairs sleeping area has low ceilings, and some suites share a single Jack and Jill bathroom. A few units are situated near the main passageway and can be darker and noisier. Room 29 is located outside the main locked area and is a distinctly older, more cramped layout.
