The resort fronts a 91 m private stretch of Lido Key beach. St. Armands Circle is 1 km away, and the complimentary shuttle runs from 08:00 to 22:30; the Circle is also within walking distance. Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) is about 11 km or a 20-minute drive, while Tampa International Airport is 97 km. There is no airport shuttle, but the concierge arranges transfers. Mote Marine Laboratory is 3 km from the resort, and downtown Sarasota, the Ringling Museum, Sarasota Jungle Gardens and public golf courses are within a 24 km drive. The nearest grocery store is a Publix on Longboat Key. Paid parking is available so you can leave your car and use the shuttle for local trips.

Palm Tower rooms on upper floors face Sarasota Bay and the downtown skyline, with kitchens that include a cooktop, full refrigerator and dishwasher. Studio suites use a queen sleeper sofa; one- and two-bedroom suites add a living area with sleeper sofa, and two-bedroom suites have two full bathrooms. One-bedroom suites have a king bed; rooms with two beds use queen beds. Beachfront rooms and most suites have balconies; standard rooms do not. Family Rooms pair a king bed with twin bunk beds in a separate nook, plus fridge, microwave and outside entry. Rooms have a private bathroom, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a coffee machine. Renovated in 2017, the Tiki Building remains older, with exterior corridors, compact layouts and less sound insulation; ground-floor rooms facing the parking area typically need curtains closed for privacy.

Drift Kitchen & Bar, on the 8th floor of the Palm Building, serves fresh seafood, housemade pasta, brick-oven pizza and contemporary American dishes with 180-degree Gulf and skyline views. Breakfast runs Monday-Friday 07:00-11:00 and weekends 07:00-12:00; dinner is served daily 17:00-22:00, with the bar open until midnight. The Tiki Bar sits between the beach and pools, offering sandwiches, salads, appetizers and tropical cocktails; happy hour runs 16:00-18:00. Beach Market Café serves fresh daily fare, breakfast sandwiches and smoothies. Breakfast is à la carte and not automatically included in every rate, though some packages add a breakfast allowance or food credit. In-room dining covers breakfast through dinner, and special diet menus and children's meals are available on request.

The two outdoor pools are heated and open daily from 08:00 to 22:00; one is adults-only (18+) and one welcomes families, with two hot tubs and a poolside bar. The private beach runs 91 m along Lido Key; two beach chairs per room are included on a first come, first served basis, while umbrellas and cabanas are available for an additional charge. The lobby fitness centre is cardio-focused and open 24/7; the 9th-floor fitness centre has strength equipment and free weights from 08:00 to 20:00. There is no spa on site. Water sports such as scuba diving, jet skiing, sailing and mangrove kayak tours can be arranged, and table tennis is free in the Alcove. Spring training baseball venues are within easy driving distance, including Ed Smith Stadium about 10 minutes away.
