EASYHOTEL LONDON CITY SHOREDITCH, London

The hotel sits in a lively area with direct access to buses and both Old Street and Liverpool Street Underground stations, reaching most London landmarks within 10 minutes on foot. St Paul's Cathedral is a 20-minute walk away, and Barbican Centre is about 10 minutes on foot, making it a practical choice for events there. The neighbourhood offers a wide range of restaurants, supermarkets, and bars, including Thai City Restaurant, Mola Cafe, and several other options within a 5-minute walk. London City Airport is 25 minutes away by taxi or public transport, and Farringdon station provides direct connections to both Gatwick and Heathrow airports.

Rooms are designed as functional sleeping spaces: each double or twin room includes a bed, a private bathroom with shower, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and parquet flooring. The rooms are very compact - there is no wardrobe, desk, chair, or luggage rack, so guests typically live out of their suitcase. Storage is limited to two fixed hangers on the wall. Rooms with windows are available, but the windows are sealed shut and cannot be opened; windowless rooms are common and functionally similar for sleeping. The air conditioning and heating are centrally controlled and cannot be adjusted by the guest; the system has been noted to occasionally switch off or be set to a fixed temperature. The bathroom is small but clean, with a good shower and plenty of counter space. Blackout curtains help facilitate sleep, and the soundproofed rooms and quiet building generally ensure a peaceful night.
