EASY PLANET BANGKOK ASOKE, Bangkok

The hotel sits in a quiet side street off Sukhumvit Soi 14, balancing central access with a calm atmosphere. BTS Asok and MRT Sukhumvit are literally around the corner, enabling direct connections to Siam, Silom, Chatuchak and Suvarnabhumi Airport via the Airport Rail Link at Makasan. Terminal 21 mall is directly opposite, offering extensive shopping and a popular food court. Several independent eateries, convenience stores and the Benjakitti Park are within a few minutes on foot. For drivers, the limited free on-site parking (first-come, first-served) adds rare value for a property this central, though the side street is narrow. Don Muang Airport is a 35-minute drive away; Suvarnabhumi Airport is a 50-minute drive.

The 14 m2 rooms offer little space beyond the essentials: a comfortable double or twin bed, a small work surface, a flat-screen TV, a safety deposit box and a private bathroom with a shower, hairdryer and toiletries. The compact layout is more suited to solo travellers or budget-conscious couples who will be out exploring most of the day; guests with large suitcases may find the floor space tight for opening luggage. The lack of a wardrobe or drawers limits long-stay organisation. A ceiling fan provides an alternative to the air conditioning, which is functional and quiet. Windows can be opened for ventilation. Rooms are non-smoking and soundproofed, but some internal noise from adjoining rooms is possible. The hotel is adults-only, and daily housekeeping is provided.

The property does not have a restaurant or provide breakfast. A small snack bar at reception offers bottled water, soft drinks and packaged snacks for purchase. A free filtered water dispenser is available in the lobby for refilling reusable bottles. The immediate neighbourhood provides abundant alternatives: Terminal 21 mall (opposite) has a large, budget-friendly food court; several international restaurants - including Argentinian steakhouse, Mexican, Italian, vegetarian and Thai options - are within a 5-minute walk. For self-catering essentials, a 7-Eleven convenience store is less than 5 minutes on foot.

Wi-Fi is free in all rooms and reliable. Free private parking is available on site but limited in space and cannot be reserved; it is first-come, first-served. Motorcycle parking is also provided. The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in and check-out, private check-in/check-out, and can handle mail and parcel reception. Daily housekeeping is included free of charge. Luggage storage is free for same-day use; overnight storage costs 50 THB per bag per night. A shared lounge with a TV is available. The hotel is wheelchair accessible, with features including an emergency cord in the bathroom, lower bathroom sink, toilet grab rails, and a lift. Key card access, CCTV throughout, smoke alarms and 24-hour security are in place. Accepted payment methods are Visa and MasterCard.
