The hotel sits in the Strasbourg-Saint-Denis area, a historic wholesale fabric district now filled with cool restaurants and boutiques. Réaumur-Sébastopol metro station (line 4) is a 5-minute walk, providing direct access to Gare du Nord for airport connections via RER B. The Louvre is within a 30-minute walk, and the lively rue Montorgueil is a short stroll. The immediate area offers many dining options, including the hotel's own restaurant with a terrace. The quiet square ensures a peaceful night, though some street noise may be heard from rooms facing the square. Public transport is excellent, making a car unnecessary; no hotel parking is available.

Each room features unique decor by different artists, with parquet floors and flat-screen cable TV. All rooms have air conditioning and heating, soundproof walls, and a safe. Private bathrooms include a walk-in shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Some rooms have a small balcony (4 rooms available) or Juliet balcony. Higher-floor rooms offer views over Paris rooftops; no room has a direct Eiffel Tower view. Rooms vary in size-some are compact, typical for central Paris, while others (like the Superior Double) are more spacious with square views. Twin beds can be arranged on request. Baby cots are available for certain room categories. Note that some rooms may have bathrooms with partial doors or open layouts; rooms facing the square tend to be quieter than street-facing ones. Electric kettles and irons are available on request from reception.

Edgar offers French cuisine with vegetarian options, open for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour.
