The Atlantic Ocean beaches are about 6 km away; a small private beach is on the property but not suitable for swimming. Free parking on site removes the need for a car while exploring downtown.

Room types: Waterfront King (with patio or private balcony, two rocking chairs, walk-in shower, granite sink), Waterfront Double (two double beds, patio), Standard King, and Standard Double (two double beds). All rooms offer Keurig coffee maker, mini-refrigerator, 39" flat-screen TV, free WiFi, iron and ironing board, and writing desk. Waterfront rooms provide direct deck access with river and city views. Standard rooms face the parking lot and street; some locations may experience road noise. The property is an older motel style; many rooms have been updated with vinyl flooring and tile showers. Beds are comfortable. Rooms with only blinds can be bright early; lighter sleepers may consider requesting a valance or using an eye mask. Occasional mold smell or dusty AC units may occur in an older building.

Breakfast includes a hot egg casserole (often with cheese, ham, and egg), fresh fruit, sausages, cereals, breads, bagels, yogurt, coffee, tea, and juice.
