TRU BY HILTON JACKSONVILLE AIRPORT, Jacksonville

The hotel sits immediately off I-95, making it easy to reach downtown Jacksonville and the airport. The free 24-hour shuttle covers airport transfers; call the front desk on arrival for pickup. A shopping and dining hub with restaurants like LongHorn Steakhouse, Chili's, and Logan's Roadhouse is within 1-2 km. Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary (8 km) and Jacksonville Zoo Gardens (12 km) are nearby. A car is recommended for exploring beyond the immediate area, as the hotel's service road access can be slightly indirect. Several gas stations are adjacent for refueling.

Rooms feature air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, hairdryer, refrigerator, and work desk. The walk-in shower has good water pressure, though the floor can be slippery. Room size is compact - suitable for overnight or short stays but may feel tight for multiple nights or a family of four. King rooms offer a comfortable bed; some find the bed firm. Noise can travel between rooms; light sleepers may prefer a higher floor or room away from high-traffic areas. The thermostat range is limited by hotel settings, so exact temperature control is not available. There is no microwave or coffee maker in the room; coffee is available 24/7 in the lobby. Hearing-accessible rooms include visual alerts and closed-caption TVs.

The free breakfast includes an American buffet with pancakes, fruits, oatmeal, sausage, breads, and hot items. Breakfast is served from 06:00 to 09:00. The breakfast area is well-staffed and kept clean. 24-hour coffee and tea are available in the lobby. Several chain restaurants are within walking distance or a short drive: Waffle House and Subway (0.5 km), LongHorn Steakhouse (1 km), Sticky Fingers Ribhouse and Chili's (2 km), and Newk's Eatery (4 km). For guests departing before breakfast, no grab-and-go option is provided.

The outdoor pool is open year-round from 8:00 to 22:00, weather permitting - a good option for cooling off after travel. The fitness center features a Peloton bike, elliptical, treadmill, and free weights, adequate for a workout during a short stay. A billiard table is available in the lobby area for casual play. The hotel is not a leisure destination but provides practical on-site options for relaxation and exercise.

The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/out and luggage storage. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Free on-site private parking requires a reservation. A complimentary 24-hour shuttle serves the airport. An additional shuttle to the cruise port runs at 10:00, 11:00, and 12:00 for $25 per person round trip (payable at check-in). The business center is available for work needs. The elevator provides access to all floors. Accessible parking is available. Laundry facilities are on-site. The hotel is pet-friendly with a non-refundable fee.
