ELEMENT BY MARRIOTT ATLANTA BUCKHEAD, Atlanta

The hotel sits in a walkable area with casual eateries (NaanStop, Chipotle, Farm Burger all within 0.5 km), a Publix supermarket a 5-minute walk away, and Lenox Square mall for shopping. The Buckhead MARTA station is a 10-minute walk, offering direct rail connection to the airport. Drivers will find the parking garage interface less convenient: ticket validation is required each time before exiting, and the drop-off zone can occasionally be blocked. The location is well-suited for business travelers and families visiting the Shepherd Center or attending events.

Rooms are generally spacious and comfortably appointed with a desk, sofa bed, and well-equipped kitchenette (microwave, refrigerator, stovetop, utensils, and even a toaster). Double rooms come with three beds, making them suitable for families. Studios offer kitchenettes and a sofa bed for up to 4 guests. Soundproofing between rooms is limited: noise from hallways, adjacent rooms, and early-morning trash collection may disturb light sleepers. Road-facing and lower-floor rooms tend to be noisier; requesting a higher floor away from elevators improves sleep quality. Some maintenance concerns reported (AC noise, TV malfunctions). Bathrooms are modern with sufficient space, though water pressure can be weak.

The indoor swimming pool is open from 7am to 11pm, kept at a comfortable temperature with a shallow end and sun loungers. The fitness centre overlooks Piedmont Road and is well-equipped with modern machines; free earbuds are provided. Complimentary bicycle rental is available, ideal for exploring the Buckhead area. The hotel also hosts free activities such as happy hour, live music performances, and broadcast sports events.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property and generally reliable, though occasional outages have been noted. The front desk is staffed 24/7 and offers express check-in/check-out and private check-in/check-out. A business centre and meeting/banquet facilities (at additional charge) are available. Accessibility features include wheelchair access, emergency cord in bathroom, lower bathroom sink, raised toilet, grab rails, Braille and tactile signage, and audible guidance. Electric vehicle charging stations and accessible parking are available. Daily housekeeping is available on request. Safety features include 24-hour security, CCTV, key card access, and safety deposit boxes. The hotel has a designated smoking area.
