Attractions such as Alltel Stadium, the Museum of Science and History, the Jacksonville Zoo, and area beaches are within a short drive. The St. Augustine outlet mall is approximately 30 minutes away. While the hotel does not offer a shuttle service, driving or ride-sharing are convenient options. Close to many restaurants, a Hardee's and Chelsea's are 0.5 km away, with other dining options within an easy walk.

All suites include a separate living room and bedroom, providing generous space for families or travellers who need room to work and relax. Water pressure in showers is reported to be low in some rooms.

Breakfast hours differ by day: 6:00-9:00 AM Monday to Friday, and 7:00-10:30 AM on weekends and holidays. The breakfast area can become very congested, particularly on busy mornings, with long lines and occasional shortages of plates, utensils, or coffee. The on-site restaurant, Chelsea's Bar & Grille, is open for lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour, serving American cuisine. The restaurant can be understaffed at peak times, so a wait for service is possible. A manager's reception (happy hour) runs daily with two free drinks and light snacks; during crowded periods, popular items may run out quickly. Wine and champagne are available for an additional charge.

The hotel features a heated indoor swimming pool with a shallow end, open from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily, plus an adults-only hour from 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM for ages 21 and older. To manage capacity, the pool is available by reservation only, with a 45-minute time slot per room per day. A hot tub and fitness centre are also included, with the gym open 24 hours and equipment kept clean and functional. There is no spa or wellness centre on the property. The pool and hot tub are popular with families and can become crowded.
