HYATT PLACE ST AUGUSTINE VILANO BEACH, St. Augustine

The hotel sits in a quieter part of Vilano Beach, just a short walk from the sand and a fishing pier. A Publix supermarket and several casual restaurants are across the street. Downtown St. Augustine, with its historic sites, shops and dining, is a 10-minute drive. The area is walkable for beach access and basic errands, though a car is practical for exploring the wider St. Augustine area. The free golf cart shuttle provides convenient rides to the beach and marina.

Rooms are carpet-free and designed with a seating area, wardrobe, tea and coffee maker, and ironing facilities. Most rooms feature a private balcony, with some offering pool views. Bed configurations include two queen beds or family rooms with three beds. Bathrooms have a bath and shower combination. While rooms are generally spacious and clean, the air conditioning units in some rooms can be noisy. Some rooms on lower floors may have limited views of a parking lot. For better sleep, choose a room on a higher floor and away from the road to minimize traffic noise.

The outdoor swimming pool is seasonal and not heated. It is a good size, though can be busy with families. The fitness centre is open and free to use, with basic equipment including weights. A free golf cart shuttle is available to take guests to the beach, which is also a short walk. Board games and puzzles are available for family entertainment. The rooftop deck features fire pits, though some may not be operational. The area also offers boating activities nearby.

Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel. The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/out, private check-in/out, and luggage storage. A business centre is available for guest use. Private on-site valet parking costs US$25 per day and is the only parking option. The hotel is accessible via lift and has accessible parking and facilities. Pets are allowed on request; a $75 cleaning fee applies for stays of 1-6 nights, increasing to $175 for 7+ nights. The hotel also has a minimarket on site. Airport transfers and shuttle services are not confirmed.
