EMPERADOR VALLARTA BEACHFRONT HOTEL AND SUITES, Puerto Vallarta

The hotel sits directly on the beach in the historic Zona Romántica, a few metres from the new Los Muertos Beach Pier. The Malecon, River Cuale, and a wide selection of shops, galleries, restaurants, and nightlife are all reachable on foot. Public transport is easy to use for trips further afield, and Puerto Vallarta International Airport is a 20-minute drive away. The area has an excellent walkability score, making a car unnecessary - and no parking is available on site.

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning (controlled by the guest), cable TV, telephone, and a safety deposit box. Standard Double rooms have one double or two twin beds and no kitchenette. Standard Suites and Junior Suites (including Family Suites) feature a king-size bed, a private balcony with ocean views, and a kitchenette with a stove, refrigerator, dishes, and cooking utensils. The family suite can accommodate up to three beds (one king, one double, and a sofa bed or two sofa beds). Some rooms have a wall between sleeping areas but are not separate rooms. The property has an elevator. Street-side rooms can be noisier, and some older units have dated furnishings; ocean-view suites are generally better maintained. Housekeeping is provided daily.

The hotel provides a beach club with umbrellas and beach towels for guests. Eight lounge chairs are reserved for hotel use from 9am to 3:30pm daily; after that the area is used by the restaurant. The rooftop terrace offers panoramic views of the ocean and Los Muertos Pier, and includes a small dipping pool (subject to maintenance). The hotel can arrange tours and activities, from extreme sports to romantic experiences. There is no swimming pool, spa, or fitness centre on site.
