HOTEL ESPRESSO MONTREAL CENTRE-VILLE / DOWNTOWN, Montreal

The hotel is situated downtown near Bell Centre, making it well-suited for hockey games and events. Metro stations are within easy walking distance, and highway access is straightforward. The neighbourhood offers numerous dining options, including HI Montreal Restaurant, Restaurant Maison Phayathai, and Birreria ITALICO all within 300 metres, plus Upstairs Jazz Bar & Grill and Da Vinci Restaurant 500 metres away. For those arriving by car, the on-site parking garage is convenient for SUV-sized vehicles.

The accommodation offers rooms with a sitting area, dressing area, parquet flooring, and in-room safe. Each room has a flat-screen TV with cable/satellite channels, air conditioning, and ironing facilities. Bathrooms include a hairdryer and free toiletries. Some rooms have connecting doors, which can transmit sound from next door - light sleepers should request a non-connecting room. Noise from employee elevators is notable for rooms ending in 40 or higher. The Ecobee thermostat system may turn off the fan when no movement is detected, affecting sleep. Room cleaning occurs every other day; daily service must be requested at reception.

The wellness facilities include a seasonal outdoor swimming pool (hours 10:00-20:00), a free fitness centre, a sauna, and a spa centre (additional charge). However, the pool and spa have been closed without prior notice during booked stays. The sauna is small (fits two) and cleanliness has been questioned. The fitness room is basic and may not match marketing images. Guests should not rely on these facilities being operational.

The hotel offers free Wi-Fi throughout. Parking is on-site for CAD 31.95 per day with accessible spaces and a parking garage; no reservation is needed. Reception is open 24 hours, with concierge and tour desk services. Free luggage storage is available. A minimarket is on-site, and vending machines provide snacks and drinks. Business services (fax/photocopying for a fee) and laundry, dry cleaning, and ironing (all for a fee) are available. The building has a lift, designated smoking areas, and facilities for disabled guests.
