STUDIO 6 SUITES JACKSONVILLE DEERWOOD PARK FL, Jacksonville

The property sits in a commercial area near the St. Johns Town Center and has a pond across the street. Free on-site private parking is available, making a car the most practical way to get around. Some walking paths and green spaces are nearby, but public transit options are limited. The location is convenient for work trips or stays requiring access to the business parks and retail areas of south Jacksonville.

Each suite includes air conditioning, heating, a flat-screen cable TV, and a kitchenette with a stovetop, full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, and cookware. Bedding configurations range from one to two beds, with some rooms offering a sofa bed. The property has a history of poor maintenance: many units have stained carpets, broken fixtures, peeling bathtub glaze, and malfunctioning doors or outlets. Reports of cockroaches and bed bugs are common, as is a pervasive smell of smoke despite a non-smoking policy. Rooms facing the road may experience noise. For the best chance at a tolerable stay, request a recently updated room and inspect thoroughly before settling in.

The property does not have a restaurant. A complimentary grab-and-go breakfast is sometimes offered in the morning (typically pre-packaged muffins, oatmeal, granola bars, and coffee), but availability is inconsistent. Guests should plan to eat at nearby restaurants; several chain and local dining options are within a 5-10 minute drive. Each room has a kitchenette for preparing simple meals, though you may need to bring your own cookware and utensils as supplies are limited.
