HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS HOTEL & SUITES JACKSONVILLE-BLOUNT ISLAND BY IHG, Jacksonville

Located 14 km from Jacksonville International Airport, the hotel is a 6-minute drive from the Carnival Jaxport terminal, making it a convenient pre-cruise stop. Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary is 7 km away, Jacksonville Zoo Gardens 14 km, and EverBank Field 25 km. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, with a Wendy's adjoining the property and a Thai restaurant 2 km away. Note that the surrounding area has limited walkability for dining or recreation; driving or ridesharing is recommended for most errands.

Standard rooms are spacious and include a microwave, refrigerator, and 32-inch flat-screen TV. Suites feature a separate living area with a sofa bed, ideal for families. Renovated units have hard flooring and updated bathrooms with Dove toiletries. Beds are widely described as comfortable, but older rooms may have musty odors or dampness. Noise from upstairs and hallway traffic can occur, especially near the elevator. No rooms have balconies. For a quieter stay, request a top-floor room away from the elevator. Bed type is allocated at check-in based on availability.

Parking is free and reservation is not needed, but it cannot be used for extended stays beyond the hotel booking. The business centre offers free fax/photocopying; meeting/banquet facilities are available for an additional charge. A lift serves all floors, though it has experienced outages. The front desk can assist with local transport arrangements. WiFi is available throughout the property for a fee; connection reliability has varied. The hotel does not accept pets. Laundry facilities are available for guest use.
