FAIRFIELD BY MARRIOTT INN & SUITES KNOXVILLE NORTHWEST, Knoxville

The hotel sits directly off Interstate 75, making it easy to reach the Knoxville Convention Center, Market Square, and University of Tennessee Neyland Stadium. Downtown Knoxville is about an 8-minute drive, and McGhee Tyson Airport is 26 km away. The immediate area includes several fast-food and casual dining options within a 0.5-1 km walk, such as McDonald's, Taco Bell, Applebee's, and Nixon's Deli. While the neighbourhood has some signs of urban challenges, the property itself is well lit and secure, with ample free parking.

Rooms come with one, two, or three beds, air conditioning, heating, tea and coffee facilities, and free toiletries. Bathrooms are private and roomy, with good shower pressure. Streaming-capable TVs allow you to log into your own accounts. Cleanliness is consistently high, and the beds are comfortable with firm and soft pillow options. A notable factor is highway noise: rooms facing Interstate 75 can be very loud, especially overnight. Requesting a back-facing room significantly improves quietness. Some rooms have compact layouts with limited lighting; overall, the property is well maintained but shows some signs of age in certain areas.

The included breakfast features a continental buffet with warm items (scrambled eggs, sausage), fresh pastries, bread, cheese, fruit, juice, and a variety of hot beverages. It is served daily from 7:00 AM. The breakfast area is well stocked, and the kitchen staff are attentive. For other meals, several restaurants are within walking distance: Taco Bell, McDonald's, Nixon's Deli (0.5 km), Starbucks, Hooters, Applebee's (1 km), plus Red Lobster, Outback Steakhouse, and Waffle House. The area also offers grocery stores for self-catering.

The seasonal outdoor swimming pool is open during warmer months, equipped with sun loungers and pool/beach towels. The fitness centre is spacious and includes a Peloton bike, several treadmills, and other cardio/strength equipment, all available free of charge. Both facilities are maintained clean and operational, though the pool area may occasionally see non-guests in the vicinity; the hotel's security patrols the property.

WiFi is free in all rooms. The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/check-out, safe deposit boxes, and luggage storage. The business centre includes free fax/photocopying and meeting rooms available for a fee. Daily housekeeping is free, and laundry can be arranged for an extra charge. The property is wheelchair accessible with grab rails in toilets, a lift, and accessible parking. Safety features include CCTV, key card access, and smoke alarms. An on-site minimarket sells snacks and essentials. The hotel also accommodates service animals and pets with a fee.
