FAIRFIELD INN & SUITES BY MARRIOTT NEW YORK BROOKLYN, New York

The hotel sits at the convergence of Park Slope, Gowanus, and Boerum Hill, placing it in a primarily residential and light-industrial area. The Atlantic Ave-Barclays Center subway station (serving lines 2, 3, 4, 5, B, D, N, Q, R) and the Union St R station are both within a 10-15 minute walk. From Atlantic Ave, express trains reach lower Manhattan in about 20 minutes, and both LGA and JFK airports are accessible by public transport in approximately 70-80 minutes. The immediate block has a few dining options, while 5th Avenue-a 10-minute walk away-offers many restaurants and boutique shops. Barclays Center is a 7-12 minute walk, making this a practical base for concerts or events.

Breakfast is included in the room rate and operates from early morning. The buffet includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, bagels, pastries, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, cereals, and a selection of juices. Coffee is available free of charge 24 hours in the lobby. The property does not have a restaurant or bar, but a snack bar and a minimarket on site offer drinks and packaged snacks. In the lobby there is a shared lounge and a coffee house area. Restaurants within a 5-minute walk include Ghenet Brooklyn, Bogota Latin Bistro, Wang's, and several others. During busy weekend periods the breakfast area can become crowded and restocking may lag; arriving early on weekends is advisable.

Wi-Fi is free in public areas and guest rooms. The 24-hour front desk can assist with concierge services, express check-in/out, and safety deposit boxes. Luggage storage is complimentary. The business centre has fax/photocopying facilities and meeting/banquet rooms are available for an additional charge. Dry cleaning is available at a fee. Parking is $40 per night on a first-come-first-served basis with no reservation possible, and the lot is open and monitored by CCTV but has been noted as less secure after hours. Security includes 24-hour cameras, smoke alarms, key card and key access, and a security guard. The property accepts American Express, Visa, Diners Club, Discover, and MasterCard. AAA/AARP discounts are offered.
