The hotel is situated on a busy commercial corridor about 15 minutes by car from downtown Savannah's Historic District and Forsyth Park (6 km). The nearest airport is Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport, 24 km away. A CAT bus stop nearby provides car-free access to the city centre. Several restaurants (Cancun Mexican, Five Guys, Starbucks, Korea Garden) and a grocery store are within a short walk. The area is well lit and feels safe, but is better suited for travellers with a car who want easy highway access rather than a walkable historic neighbourhood.

The hotel offers double rooms with either one king bed or two queen beds, plus suites with a seating area and sofa bed. All units feature air conditioning, heating, a tea and coffee maker, a private bathroom with a walk-in shower (some with bathtub), a hairdryer, free toiletries, ironing facilities, a wardrobe, carpeted flooring, and a flat-screen TV with streaming services. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a recently renovated interior. Low-profile beds mean mattresses sit close to the floor. Some rooms have thin sheer curtains that let in outside light; rooms nearest the parking garage exit can be noisy. A limited number of accessible rooms feature roll-in showers, raised toilets, grab rails, and visual/tactile aids.

The complimentary breakfast includes items such as scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, grits, bagels, pastries, fresh fruit, coffee, and a waffle station. The breakfast area is staffed and kept clean, with options replenished until 10:00 when service ends. Selection can be limited during busy periods. There is no on-site restaurant or bar, but the hotel offers wine/champagne for an additional charge. Several restaurants (including Cancun Mexican, Five Guys, Korea Garden, and a Starbucks) are within a 5-10 minute walk, and Fresh Fields grocery store is across the parking lot.

The outdoor heated pool is small (suitable for a brief dip) and surrounded by a fence. Sun loungers and towel service are provided. The pool was in disrepair at times; it is best to check current condition before planning a swim. The fitness centre is free and includes cardio equipment, making it practical for a workout. Bicycle rental is available for exploring the area on two wheels.

Parking is available on site in an integrated multi-storey garage for US$12 per day (reservation required). The garage has very narrow spaces separated by concrete pillars; parking on the same floor as your room allows direct access without using the elevator. Electric vehicle charging stations (6 kW) are present but reported as non-functional; a Tesla Supercharger is a few blocks away. The hotel offers a minimarket on site, a shared lounge/TV area, and outdoor furniture. Safety features include key card access, key access, fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, and 24-hour security.
