FAIRFIELD INN & SUITES BY MARRIOTT MEMPHIS EAST GALLERIA, Memphis

The hotel is located along US Highway 64, placing it within walking distance of several chain restaurants (Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, Texas Roadhouse, Steak 'n Shake). For city landmarks, the Fire Museum of Memphis and Brown Park are 28 km away, Autozone Park and Stax Museum are 29 km, and Graceland is 37 km. The area is car-dependent; the free on-site parking is a practical advantage for those driving. While the immediate location offers quick access to dining and shopping, a vehicle is needed for most sightseeing and business destinations.

Accommodation is a mix of rooms with double or queen beds, all including a private bathroom. In-room amenities cover ironing facilities, tea and coffee facilities, free toiletries, a hairdryer, and carpeted floors. Some rooms have been recently updated and are described as quiet and spacious, while others have been noted as worn, musty, or with broken fixtures (TV not working, faulty sinks). The hotel is non-smoking throughout. Rooms may not have a balcony. For a better experience, a room away from the pool area or recently renovated floor is recommended.

The on-site hot tub / jacuzzi provides a free leisure option, though there is no spa, sauna, or swimming pool. The pool area has been reported as in poor condition-pool water has been cloudy or green, and the jacuzzi has sometimes been out of service. If a full wellness experience is required, consider alternative properties; the hotel is suitable for a quick soak rather than extended leisure use.
