The Duomo is generally under a 5-minute walk, making it easy to return to the apartment between sightseeing. Restaurants, bars, and gelaterias are abundant immediately outside the door, along with a Carrefour supermarket and several traditional Florentine eateries. For train connections, Firenze Santa Maria Novella station is about 15 minutes on foot. The location is car-unfriendly due to the ZTL zone, so off-site parking is essential. A large grocery store is often within 50-100 metres, which is convenient for self-catering.

Each apartment is individually owned and features different layouts. Larger units offer two or three bedrooms with two full bathrooms, spacious living areas, and well-equipped kitchens with a washing machine but no dryer. Some apartments are on raised ground floors or upper levels - the 'Class' apartment is on the fourth floor with a lift and has a terrace with a partial Duomo view. Others, like 'Sospiro', are on the second floor without a lift in a 19th-century building. Rooms tend to be spacious and comfortable, with high ceilings, parquet floors, and good natural light. Window shutters provide effective blackout and sound insulation for rooms on busier streets. Some apartments have a mezzanine bedroom that reduces privacy - check the specific apartment layout if travelling with children. Bedding is comfortable, and an extra bed or cot is available for an additional fee.

Each apartment comes with a kitchen that includes a stove, oven, dishwasher, espresso machine, and full cookware, allowing guests to prepare meals and eat in.
