FLORENCE NEAR SANTA MARIA NOVELLA APARTMENT, Florence

The apartment sits in the historic centre, with Palazzo Vecchio reachable in under 4 minutes and Piazza del Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, and the Accademia Gallery all within a short stroll. The train station is a 5-minute walk, making arrivals and day trips seamless. Restaurants, cafés, and a grocery store are right outside the door, yet the apartment itself remains quiet. Florence Airport is 9 km away - a taxi or tram from the station covers the connection easily.

The apartment includes a separate bedroom with a comfortable bed, a living room with dining area, and a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. The fully equipped kitchen (stovetop, oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, cookware) allows for easy meal preparation, though counter space is limited. Air conditioning and effective soundproofing keep the space comfortable and quiet despite its central location. A dressing area, seating area with flat-screen TV, washing machine, ironing facilities, and thoughtful extras (board games, candles, hand sanitiser) add homely comfort. No elevator is available - the apartment is on the third floor.

The host provides a welcome supply of breakfast basics (bread, snacks, coffee, tea, and sometimes milk or juice), plus salt, oil, and other cooking essentials. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing full meals, including a stovetop, oven, microwave, and coffee maker. Numerous restaurants and a grocery store are within a 2-3 minute walk, offering easy alternatives without needing to travel far.

The private balcony offers a peaceful spot for breakfast or an evening drink with views over Tuscan rooftops. Board games are available for indoor downtime. For wellness and recreation, all of Florence's outdoor spaces - from Piazza della Signoria to the Boboli Gardens - are within walking distance, as are museums, galleries, and live opera performances in the streets and nearby venues.
