The hotel sits at a busy intersection but the entrance is on a quieter secondary road. Petchaburi MRT (blue line) is virtually at the doorstep, and Makkasan ARL station is a short walk - the airport train takes 25-30 minutes to Suvarnabhumi. Major shopping and entertainment areas such as Terminal 21 (one MRT stop), Central Plaza Rama 9, Platinum Fashion Mall, and Pratunam Market are within a 10-minute drive. Asok Pier for canal boats is also nearby, giving an alternative way to navigate the city. A 7-Eleven is a few minutes away on foot, and the area is well-served by taxis. Some side streets are poorly lit at night, so stick to the main road if returning late.

Rooms are functional and clean but show signs of age - worn furniture and basic décor. Sound insulation is poor; road-facing rooms experience constant traffic noise, so light sleepers should request a room facing away from the main road. Beds are firm with large, lumpy pillows, which may not suit everyone. Each room includes a kettle, fridge, safe, free toiletries, and a shower. There is no balcony. Views from some windows overlook an abandoned building and neon signs, while city-facing rooms have a more pleasant outlook. Despite the dated feel, rooms are generally spacious and housekeeping keeps them tidy, with daily towel changes. To minimise noise, higher floors on the courtyard side are recommended.

Breakfast is a buffet offering American and Thai options - some days include scrambled eggs, hot dishes, fruit, and pastries. Many find it decent value, though variety can be limited later in the morning. For early departures, the hotel can provide a packed breakfast box at no extra charge if requested the night before. Metro Café also serves lunch and dinner with reasonably priced Thai and international cuisine; many returning guests praise the quality-to-price ratio. Room service is available for in-room dining. While there are a few restaurants within a 5-10-minute walk, the on-site restaurant is a practical and economical option for most meals.

The pool is small - roughly 5 by 2 metres, more suitable for a quick cool-down than lap swimming. It is located on the 7th floor with basic sun loungers and pool towels provided. The fitness centre has a few cardio machines and free weights; note that some equipment may occasionally be unplugged or not fully operational. There is no spa, sauna, or whirlpool. Both facilities are free and open during operating hours, but their small size means they are best considered a bonus rather than a primary reason to book.

The front desk is staffed around the clock and handles check-in quickly. Luggage storage is available for early arrivals or late departures, making it easy to explore the city without bags. Business centre and meeting/banquet facilities can be arranged. Room service offers the same menu as the restaurant at reasonable prices. Safety features include 24-hour security, CCTV, key card access, in-room safe, and smoke alarms. Wi-Fi is free and consistently strong across all areas. No airport shuttle is provided, but the front desk can call a taxi. Parking is free but off-site and limited - it is best to call ahead to ensure a space.
