GALAXY PODS CAPSULE HOTEL BOAT QUAY, Singapore

The hotel is on Boat Quay, a lively riverside strip with dozens of restaurants and bars steps away. National Gallery Singapore is a 6-minute walk, the Singapore City Gallery is 14 minutes, and the Esplanade is 1 km. The Merlion Park and Clarke Quay are also within a short stroll. Raffles Place MRT station (green line) is about a 5-minute walk, connecting directly to the airport in 30-45 minutes. Chinatown's Sri Mariamman Temple is less than 1 km away. The neighbourhood is very walkable, but the immediate street can be busy with nightlife into the early hours. Large luggage is awkward on the MRT, so plan accordingly.

Capsules are made of plastic with a sliding PVC door. Each capsule contains a mattress (2-inch foam on plywood), a pillow, sheets, a small shelf, a USB charging port, and a personal fan. The shared bathrooms combine a shower, toilet, and sink in one small wet room; hot water is available but pressure can be inconsistent. The capsule room holds up to 20 pods and has a no-shoes policy. The double capsule accommodates two adults but is not recommended for three. The family room is windowless and opens onto the pod room. Tall travellers (over 175-180 cm) may find the capsule length restrictive. Road-facing pods can be noisy from street and lobby activity.

There is no restaurant, bar, or cooked breakfast on site. A vending machine sells drinks and snacks. Free hot water, instant coffee, and tea are available at reception to all guests throughout the day. More than a dozen dining options are within a 2-3 minute walk, including Song Fa Bak Kut Teh, Tom Yum Kungfu, King Kebabs, and Wakanui Grill Dining Singapore. JUMBO Seafood Gallery is a 5-minute walk away along the river. For a self-catering option, a laundry room and a 7-Eleven are also nearby.

The terrace offers outdoor seating and a dining table, providing a simple outdoor space to relax. The shared lounge is compact, limited to a single table in the reception area, and functions primarily as a common meeting point rather than a leisure facility. There is no pool, gym, spa, or organised activities on site. The surrounding Boat Quay and Clarke Quay areas offer plenty of riverside walking paths and nightlife for guests wanting leisure options outside the hotel.

WiFi is free and available in all areas. A luggage room allows free storage of large suitcases all day, while personal lockers inside the capsule room fit only handbags and backpacks. The 24-hour reception uses key-card access for the building, capsule, and lockers. CCTV, smoke alarms, and security alarms are installed. A washing machine (S$5) and dryer (S$5) are available for guest use. Fax/photocopying can be arranged for an additional charge. The hotel is not wheelchair-friendly - the capsule room and most areas are accessed by stairs. Shampoo, body wash, and towels are provided free of charge in the shared bathrooms.
